Re: voice recognition software: is anyone familiar with Dragon Speaking Naturally Preferred 10?
I was told that I would need "3-4 RAM" in my Vista laptop for the software to work, but my PC only has "1 RAM". My questions are: 1) would it still work (with 1 RAM)? ...and 2), would the software allow me to google whatever I want, scroll up/down, and access the dictionary on my toolbar?
Typing causes severe throbbing pain due to neuropathy, and my doctor said to lay off typing to allow hands to heal (hence need for software). ...Has been difficult writing this, but desperate for answers (I'm a dummy when it comes to computers/software) (!)

Don't believe what others tell you.
According to the minimum hardware requirements listed on their website, 1 GB RAM is enough, but 2 - 3 GB RAM is way better, based on my experience.
