Creative Hs Fatal1ty Gaming Headset
My new headset is good but.....?
My mic won't work. The headset is Creative Fatal1ty USB Gaming Headset HS-1000. I like the sound that comes out of it, but my mic won't work on it. The mic is actually separate from the headset and plugs into the left earmuff through an audio jack. I have installed the current driver for it and everything on the installation disk, but when i try to talk into it not a single sound goes through it. This is a brand new headset and my old headset didn't have software that could interfere. I don't know what to do and Creative's support site didn't help(just told me to install the drivers). Please help me i want to talk to my CoD5 clan, any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you
Charlie, i did that and tested my hardware. The mic was not detected in the test, but i can hear music out of the headphones.
