Need help on deciding which mic to buy?

I'm stuck between

I'm a pretty big gamer and use mic's for online chat and making videos. I'm not sure the extra $10 is worth the gaming headset but I've never used a headset before.

Both are excellent headset mics. For the price I would select Microsoft.

It only works as a standard headset (i.e no game sound effects, just chat). If you want both sound effects and chat you need something like turtle beach (Earforce 21p) or Tritton (AX Pro or 720) headsets (they have both an audio connector, and USB).
