Dragon Naturally Speaking 7 Vista

Does - Dragon Naturally Speaking 7 - work with Windows Vista, and can it be set-up to work with Yahoo IM?

Dragon Naturally Speaking is a speech-dictation program which types what the user says into the microphone.

It never worked all that great... even when using it with Windows XP... for which is was designed. So I doubt it would be any better with Windows Vista... if it would work at all.

But if anyone has any experiences or tips they can share, I'd appreciate anything in reference to my question.

Can a person set-up Dragon Speaking to dictate in a Messenger program such as Yahoo Messenger?

Dragon 7 does work, I have trained many to use it, and most can get around 85-90% within the first few hours, a few who spend more time training can get almost 95%, but this also depend on factors such as accent, clarity of your voice, as well as good hardware inc microphone.

I have tried version 8 but didnt noticed much difference, but so far not tried any inc v9 on Vista as I have doubt on how useful it is.
