how to use a xbox headset as a mic
why doesnt my Headset Mic work on my laptop?
i bought a Cyber Accountics headset mic for my computer and it doesnt work. sure i can hear the sound perfectly, but i cant speak out to anyone. i have set the sound boost for this and 20+db as needed for this microphone, however, no one can hear me still. do any of you know how to fix this problem?

the microphones model number is HS-600 the cyber acoustics neckband stereo headst with DNCT4. i have it plugged into the correct sockets. and i have the sound settings right yet the mic doesnt work, i just bought it.
Make sure you have the plugs in the correct sockets. Without knowing the model number of your headset I can't help any further.
