Is the Logitech G35 Headset any good?

Have you guys used it? How did you find them? Its a big investment for a pair of headphones so I want to make sure I get the right pair.

If they're not any good, could you suggest another good headset?

the Astro gaming A40 headset is a bigger and better investment. that doesn't mean the G35 is bad. but with the G35 you have to make sure you don't pull on the cable too often.

the only 2 brands i've seen not break easily by pulling on the cord are Astro gaming and Sony.

Logitech Headset?

I have a Logitech headset. The headphones work well and I can hear just fine. When I go to The audio manager in the control Panel and go to recording, it says my mic is working. But when I try to use my mic, it wont work and it says it didn't hear anything, and it's NOT muted and the volume is turned all the way up! Is anyone else having this problem? Is there anything I can do to fix it? Help please.

In the program you are using to communicate...go to the (Set-up or Tools) folder and select "Microphone (Logitech Mic (Communicate STX) in the pulldown menu for your Mic.
