Speech Recognition Microphone
Why doesn't my microphone work? Help please?
I have a Windows Vista and headphone with microphone in it. I want to control my computer by voice and when I use "set up a microphone" by control panel it says that the speech recognition is working perfectly, but when I try voice commands tutorial I can not hear my voice in the headphones and my computer doesn't complete any voice order. What should I do?
Do yuo have the right software installed?

Try going to Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices
Then click the Audio Tab.
Then look at 'Sound Recording'
You should be able to see whether the Microphone is the selected recording device.
Also, are you sure you have plugged the Microphone into the correct 3.5mm Jack in your sound card (normally Pink).
