Logitech Premium Headset
Ventrillo issue, headset?
Well i bought a new headset yesterday for £40. ( Logitech premium Notebook Headset ), and i use ventrilo ver 3.0.5, and i use windows 7, how do i change the voice options so i hear like there voices through the headset and hear everything else through the pc?
By default the moment you plug in a headset it overrides the speakers on your computer regardless of what is supplying sound.
However, the only thing I can suggest that may or may not work is to right click your speaker icon, playback devices, right click your laptop speakers icon (will probably say Speakers; High definition audio device) and choose set to default. Then in ventrillo see if there is an option under audio out to choose your headset. This is a bit of a stretch but worth a shot.

I actually just tried this out and it didn't work, I would assume you are SOL.

How to update usb drivers and bios?
So i just got a logitech premium headset 350 im running on windows 7 and the headphones work great but the microphone doesnt work looking on logitech website i read that updating the usb drivers and bios would work but i dont know how to do that..PLZ Help!
Bios can be dowloaded and flashed to your motherboard.. you dont do it while windows is running..and best let someone that is qualafied..you could fry your motherboard if done wrong and be out a computer. I would check in control panel on sounds and see if there is something muted or not checked. also check your mixer by clicking on the speaker symbol in hour taskbar and then choosing playback and recording devices or sound and see if there is a problem.
